Welcome to The Rotary Club of Chatham

International Service & Rotary Foundation - projects supported

Presidents’s Project
President Ravi is supporting two schools in India and Pakistan. The Indian society is called Hangul Taluk Education Society and the unit in Pakistan Skardu School. At the end of his presidential year he will give part of funds raised to each of these establishments.

Horn of Africa
Chatham Rotary Club members concerned by the drought and problems in Africa raised funds in August 2011 by holding a Frugal Evening at club and serving a simple meal rather than a normal supper. One of the club members, who lived and worked in Africa also spoke about his experiences during the evening.

Love in a Box
An organisation sending Christmas presents to needy children in the Third World. The club makes an annual collection for this cause

Aquabox
A charity that sends a large crate filled with useful items such as clothing/tools/toiletries/toys etc to be sent to the site of a disaster such as the Tsunami - the box itself converts into a carrier for water

Contact Clubs
Chatham Rotary is twinned with Frederica-Lillebaelt in Denmark and Valenciennes in France. The clubs stay with each other on an annual basis and meet regularly either in this country or abroad to cement their Rotary Fellowship
